1. Tap the Start menu and choose Programs.
2. Next, tap on the Communications folder.
3. Double-click the Remote Networking icon.
4. Double-click the Make New Connection icon.
5. Next, enter
Outlook Technologies in the Type a name for the connection box.
6. Select the Dial-up Connection radio button.
7. Click the Next button.
8. Next, select your modem from the dropdown menu.
9. Click the Next button.
10. Next, enter in the local access number for your area in the Telephone number box (Click here for a list of local access numbers).
11. Click the Finish button (This will bring you back to the Remote Networking Window).
12. Double-click
the
Outlook Technologies icon.
13.
Enter
your Dialup UserName in the
username field. Please enter your
username as such:
UserName@outtech.com
If your dialup user name is
JohnD, enter
JohnD@outtech.com
14. Enter your Password in the Password box.
15. Check the Save Password box.
16. Then click Connect to log on to the internet.
