Macintosh System 7.5.1 Set-Up (Mac Open Transport PPP)

Operating System: Macintosh 7.5.1

Application: Mac Open Transport PPP

1. From the Apple menu choose Control Panel.
2. Double click on the PPP icon (You should see the screen below).

1. Enter your dialup UserName in the name field.  Please enter your username as such:  UserName@outtech.com  If your dialup user name is JohnD, enter JohnD@outtech.com
    
2. Enter your password in the appropriate box.
3. Make sure that the Save Password box is checked.
4. Enter the local dial up number for your area.
5. From the PPP menu chose TCP/IP
    

1. Set the Connect Via box to "PPP."
2. Set the Configure box to "Using PPP Server."
3. If any entrys exist in the Name Server box change them to:
• 216.207.144.6 on the first line and
• 216.207.144.7 on the second line.
4. Close this window.
5. When you want to use the internet click on connect.
